A lecturer,space,display,simply.. , free of charge, put up,carriages ( nicht die Kutsche)

There are so many ????????????? over my head. How can I explain simply???? or all these others words...... I don´t know.

Do they want you to EXPLAIN the word or is it ok to find a synonym (a word with the same or a similar meaning) ?
lecturer --> speaker
space --> room
display --> screen
simply --> easily
free of charge --> it doesn`t cost anything
to put up --> to build
carriages --> transport

A lecturer is a person who speaks in front of a crowd. By the way, "crowd" seems to be one of Garys favourite words. You don`t know who Gary is ? Gary is a member of TT and Alishia wants to marry him.
